P.B.& J.

This is one of the coolest ways I have ever eaten peanut butter and jelly. I find that it tastes best if you eat it with vanilla ice-cream,or a tall glass of milk...........yuuuuummmm! :)

         ~Peanut Butter and Jelly Bars~
3 cups all purpose flour                           2 eggs
1 tsp baking powder                               2 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups smooth peanut butter             1 1/2 cups jam or jelly(I like to use srawberry)
  1 1/2 cups (packed) brown sugar           1 1/2 cups salted dry-roasted peanuts
  1 cup (2 sticks) butter

Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a 9.5x13.5 (or 9x13) glass baking pan.Whisk flour, and baking powder in a small bowl.Using electric mixer, beat peanut butter, sugar, and butter in a large bowl until smooth.Add eggs and vanilla;beat on low speed until smooth.Add flour mixture, and mix just until blended.Transfer half the dough to the freezer for 10min. Using your hands, press the remaining dough onto the bottom of the baking pan evenly.Spread jelly or jam onto the peanut butter layer, evenly.Remove dough from freezer;using your fingertips, break dough into grape-size pieces and scatter over jelly layer.Sprinkle the chopped nuts over all.Bake bars until top is golden brown, about 30min. Cool bars completely before cutting.
