True poetry...

If you want to read a poem that will make you cry, read 'The Prisoner of Chillion: a fable' by George Gordon Byron. It is one of the best poems I have ever read. It sent a little chill up my spine, and tears to my eyes.

Another really good love poem is 'Isabella; or the pot of basil' by John Keats. Its really sweet.

  1. Thanks! I have been very interested in reading poetry for a long time now, so it will be nice to have some selected. :) Have you read any Thoreau?

  3. That sounds cool! You will have to tell me about it. I was interested in looking at his stuff but haven't yet. (I have no idea why, though!)
